India and Central Asia Agree on Afghanistan Stability and Security Cooperation

Ajit Doval, India’s National Security Advisor, emphasized strengthening security cooperation and stability in Afghanistan during a meeting with Central Asian counterparts in Bishkek.
According to Zharfa News Agency, the national security advisors discussed strategies to combat terrorism, extremism, and drug trafficking. They agreed on the critical need for security and stability in Afghanistan as a cornerstone for regional development.
India and Central Asian countries committed to enhancing cooperation in security, regional connectivity, and economic development with Afghanistan. These efforts aim to establish long-term stability in the region.
Additionally, participants stressed strengthening ties between India and Central Asia. Collaboration in digital infrastructure, artificial intelligence, emerging technologies, and space was also prioritized.
