American sources claim that the Donald Trump administration has taken a new step in men’s health policy by facilitating the conditions for prescribing testosterone to men.
According to Zharfa News Agency, this decision is supported by Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Secretary of Health, and senior officials including Pete Hegseth, the U.S. Secretary of Defense.
The U.S. Department of Defense has announced that screening for low testosterone levels in the military has begun, and the hormone will be provided to improve the performance of service members.
Medical experts say recent research has confirmed the benefits of testosterone in improving sexual desire, erectile dysfunction, and overall quality of life for men, while reducing previous concerns about cardiovascular risks.
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has also removed safety warnings related to heart problems and proposed rewriting prescription guidelines to cover symptoms associated with aging.
However, doctors warn that excessive prescribing of this hormone may carry risks such as reduced fertility, and that more long-term research is still needed.
