Dr. Abdullah Condemns Pakistan’s Airstrikes on Kabul and Paktika
Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, former head of Afghanistan’s High Council for National Reconciliation, strongly condemned Pakistan’s airstrikes on Kabul and Paktika, calling them a blatant violation of Afghanistan’s territorial integrity.
According to zharfa News Agency, Abdullah stated in a Facebook post that these attacks contravene international law and the UN Charter, undermining the principles of good neighborly relations.
He urged all neighboring countries to fully respect Afghanistan’s territorial sovereignty, emphasizing that the Afghan people expect all nations to honor the country’s national sovereignty.
The former reconciliation chief stressed resolving disputes through diplomacy and constructive dialogue, describing rational approaches and negotiations as the only path to de-escalation.
Notably, on Thursday night, Pakistani warplanes targeted areas in Kabul and Paktika, triggering widespread reactions.
