Taliban Warns Pakistan: Cease Aggressions or Face Consequences

The Taliban government’s spokesperson announced today a “decisive response” to Pakistan’s recent airstrikes, emphasizing that Kabul reserves the right to defend its territory and airspace.

According to zharfa News Agency, Zabihullah Mujahid, the Taliban’s spokesperson, stated on Sunday, October 12, that in last night’s retaliatory operation, 58 Pakistani soldiers were killed and 30 others injured.

He added that over 20 border posts were captured by Taliban forces, with 9 of their fighters killed and 16 wounded in the clashes.

Mujahid reassured the public of security stability, noting no major incidents have occurred in the past eight months and borders remain fully under control. However, he accused Pakistan of violating Afghan airspace and supporting ISIS and drug cultivation, posing a regional threat.

The Taliban spokesperson warned that certain elements within Pakistan’s system are spreading misinformation to strain bilateral ties and provoke public sentiment, urging Islamabad to immediately halt its negative actions.
