England took the lead in the 55th minute through a combination between Morgan Rogers and Anthony Gordon, and held onto that advantage until the final minutes. However, Argentina’s sustained pressure paid off in the 85th minute, as Enzo Fernández leveled the score with a spectacular strike.
Argentina continued to press in stoppage time. In the 90+2nd minute, Lionel Messi delivered a pinpoint cross from the right, setting up Lautaro Martínez, who headed home the winning goal for the Albiceleste.
With this result, Argentina will face Spain in the final on July 19 (28 Saratan). England, meanwhile, must play France in the third-place match.
